Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is thought to be one of the most biologically diverse forests in Africa. It is home to more than half the world’s population of mountain gorillas.

Ishasha

Located in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha Plains get few tourists. The area has plenty of large game to see, including its famous tree-climbing lion, which lounge in the low boughs of the fig trees.

Jinja

Jinja lies on one side of the Nile whilst the satellite town of Njeru is situated on the opposite bank. The major attraction in the area is the River Nile and the series of grade five rapids that are becoming increasingly popular for white-water rafting.
