Murchison Falls National Park

Located in western Uganda, Murchison Falls National Park is an unspoilt area famous for where the Nile is suddenly forced through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment producing a torrent of white waters.

Budongo Forest Reserve

The Budongo Forest is a moist, semi-deciduous tropical rain forest located at the top of the Albertine Rift in Uganda. The Budongo Forest is an important East African forest. This is because it is a particularly well-studied area and was, in the past, well-known for its mahogany.

Jinja

Jinja lies on one side of the Nile whilst the satellite town of Njeru is situated on the opposite bank. The major attraction in the area is the River Nile and the series of grade five rapids that are becoming increasingly popular for white-water rafting
